Webinar: Verification of intrinsically safe circuits

Understand the relevant safety-related parameters of intrinsic safety and apply this knowledge using a practical example. Carry out an intrinsic safety verification and create the associated calculations to prove the safety of electrical circuits in potentially explosive atmospheres.

What you can expect
A detailed presentation and explanation of the parameters of intrinsic safety. The interconnection of electrical devices in a complex example. You will also receive detailed calculations, a clear collection of formulae and a practical template for the intrinsic safety certificate.

Objectives of the webinar

The aim of the webinar is to provide a sound understanding of the relevant input, output and line parameters required for the interconnection of intrinsically safe devices. The role of non-intrinsically safe parameters will also be highlighted.

After the webinar, participants will be able to carry out a complete intrinsic safety verification independently and document it in a comprehensible manner.

In addition, they will acquire the necessary knowledge to identify, correctly assess and use suitable resources in a targeted manner, even in complex applications.
