The first step in this process is to determine the specific explosion protection requirements for your device. This can be done using a checklist similar to those used in test reports by certification bodies.
If desired, I will provide you with a complete report clearly outlining which modifications are necessary to make your device intrinsically safe.

Once the requirements have been defined, I support you in developing the explosion protection concept and designing the safety circuits. You can benefit from my many years of experience in the field of intrinsic safety.
I assist with component dimensioning as well as the planning and verification of circuit layouts. With a background in electronics development, I also have in-depth expertise in designing printed circuit boards (PCBs).

A crucial part of the approval process is the documentation. I can carry out a detailed review of your documents and provide any missing calculations or descriptions as needed.
If desired, I can also handle communication with the certification body. The review process is significantly accelerated when the examiner receives a clear and detailed explanation of the device, the protection concept, and the structure of the documentation.
